Court Update

We are pleased to report that all five courts are now back in action again after the recent flooding. This is quite impressive considering how bad the flooding was.

Because of the damage caused by recent flooding only courts 1,2 & 3 are playable at the moment. Repair work will be started as soon as possible, which will cause further intermittent disruption over all 5 courts, but we ask members to be patient and to apply the 30-minute rule strictly, so that as many people as possible can enjoy the available courts during this difficult period. Once the insurers have given us the go-ahead, the maintenance company are ready to come in and do the work (weather permitting), so we hope to have the courts back to normal very soon.

When all the courts are full, players may play for 30 minutes or finish a set (whichever is shorter). If you find all the courts in use you should:

1. Find out if any courts are in use for club sessions.

2. See if it is possible to double up for doubles play.

3. Find out who has been playing longest.

4. Inform those players that you wish to play.

5. Wait a maximum of 30 minutes for the court to become available.
